A road block is a task that only one team……..oooops! I’m quoting “The Amazing Race” again. Can you tell I’m hooked on that show already? I love it! Oh yeah….back to the story.
My family *was* going to go to Denver this past weekend, but the weather forecasts were looking way too foreboding to attempt the trip. Today it isn’t as bad, but I have a feeling that Wyoming and Colorado were still snowing, so I think it’s for the best that we bailed on it anyhow. Besides….there are other weekends in which to go anyhow.
I picked up some chocolates tonight that are like a piece of heaven. They’re called Brach’s Orchard Fresh, and are pieces of orange wrapped in chocolate. If you have not tried them, head over to where you pick up candy from, and find these little treasures. They’re so divine! Also, I picked up a couple of games for my Xbox – Burnout Revenge (scored two perfect 10’s on G4’s Judgment Day), and PsychoNauts – both are really fun games, and I love playing them. On the PS2, I have been playing the Sly Cooper trilogy (I suggest playing each one in succession), and have not regretted that either.
I’ve been doing some fresh dabbling in fashion too, and found some nice long blue jeans that go perfect with a pair of white platform boots I just picked up, so now I have the perfect combination to do a little street-heeling in, and enjoy the heck out of it! My goal is still to lose quite a bit of weight this year, so as soon as it warms up a little bit, out comes the bike, gets a tune-up, and then it’s hitting the roads as much as I can in order to sweat it up a little bit. If only there were some nice clear paths between me and my workplace, I’d be doing it daily! Gotta work that route out sometime soon!
My latest venture into upgrading my PC has proven me wrong. It may have been actually cheaper to get a pre-made PC than upgrading my current one, since each part I get needs other parts for it to work right. As soon as I get me a good disc of XP, then I’ll have to reformat my drives again, and this time, since I have a much larger drive, I can do a dual-boot of Winblows and Linux (yes, my inner geek is showing).
Can you tell I’ve been keeping busy?
It’s a good thing you didn’t come down to Denver anyway, we were having rolling blackouts on Saturday, so traffic was really messed up.

That’s what I heard and saw online. Casper had 6-8 inches of snow by Friday as well, so I doubt I could have made it through. I know I’ll be down sometime this year though!
