Well, this week has certainly been one on the move, as we’ve been constantly hitting thrift stores for bargains, game shops for rarities, and Payless shops for fashionable kicks. I think I must’ve hit a dozen stores looking for stuff in 13W, since sometimes their sizing allows me to nick some nice boots and stuff. I got a sweet pair of pointy-toed boots (yeah…that style the gals seem to think it hot), and now I can see why. If anyone picks on you, you can just kick ’em in the shin/groin/knee, and it’s bound to cause at least some discomfort. LOL
We picked up an FC Twin system that plays both NES/SNES games here, and it was only $45! That’s half of what the game shops in Billings are selling them for. I could have picked up a Wii, but thought it better to use the funds on having fun while on vacation, and then just look for one later on.
Among the places to eat that we went to were:
Super Panda on Havana (HUGE disappointment since the original owner died)
Carl’s Jr. (yes, they are still better than Hardee’s)
Chipotle (you don’t know a big burrito til you see one)
Taki’s (their food is AWESOME!)
and Breakfast King (usual truck stop faire/prices, but not bad at all)
So our tummies were happy, but I’ll be paying plenty of visits to Oz Fitness to work off that fun.
Other than that, we got to see some good friends, went to some malls (Aurora, CO Mills), and it was a fun time.
The only odd thing that happened is my front plate vanished, along with its holder. Guess it wanted to stay here, so that’s another thing on my agenda before hitting the grindstone next week.
I LOVED IT, and I loved seeing my friends again! I hope I got to catch up with most everyone. If I missed seeing anyone, I hope that the year goes well for you, and hope to see you sometime in the future.
