Yes, X….I’ve had too many random blogs, so I’ve lost count. Do I really need a topic?
Well, this week has been pretty uneventful thus far – nothing drastic crashing about my ears, thank goodness. I still haven’t gotten much done on the remodeling font, but I hope to change that sometime soon…especially if I’m stuffing a new PC in my room….gotta make room for that thing. Perhaps in the corner would be best.
I’ve been tracking an order, which seems to love the scenic route in getting to me. It started off in Wisconsin, then went to Maine, then BACK to Wisconsin, and now over in Utah. What the eff is in Utah that it’s important for my package to stop THERE? It’s going a touch south in my opinion. Maybe shipping is getting too efficient, so they have to slow it down somehow. Guess everyone needs a little job security.
I’ve still got that Space 1999 song stuck in my head. Must be my way of telling myself that yes, it will be ordered one day, even if just about everyone I know nowadays is too young to remember such a show. I still like it as much as Star Trek, along with The Prisoner and a few select others that are slowly making their way to DVD….like “The Secrets of Isis”, “Space Academy”, and “Blackstar” A friend of mine told me how to convert all those episodes to MPEG or DivX format, and then just run them from a server. Might be an interesting project to undertake sometime. I still can’t figure out on my networking how to see my wired desktop from my wireless one, but that’s kinda on the back burner anyway.
It’s been an interesting year to say the least. My circle of “cool friends” here has been expanding, and I’ve been making new friends where I’d least expect it too, so it’s been full of good surprises. Granted, there have been a few downspins, but for the most part, I can’t complain. I like living in the moment these days, and really don’t have much of a care past tomorrow (unless I’m waiting for something in the mail – kinda like Christmas). I still want to take a vacation back down to Denver sometime soon though. Thank goodness I can get there within a day from here still.
