It’s been another week, and things are going about the same, which is a good thing. It’s “drain & fill weekend” for the hot tub so it’ll be good to go for the winter. I only wish we didn’t have such bratty kids next door! All summer long, when we had our regular pool up as well, they thought it was funny to throw rocks and trash into it! We had to replace the water more than once, as the pool had no cover. Thank goodness the tub does, or we’d be replacing that water more often too! Then there’s this one kid who rides by on his bike, asking all sorts of personal questions – one kid I’d love to drop-kick over the next fence, that’s for sure!
I’ve been practicing daily, getting my makeup to look good and co-ordinating my clothing to look good, but when you have limited shopping funds, you have to get creative at times. We’re now getting into winter, so some of what I shop for gets a bit scarce. I guess if I would have learned to sew years ago, I could do better. I used to sew box shirts a long time ago, and I could probably still do those, as depending on the length, it could be a shirt, a tunic, or a dress.
Halloween is coming up, and I’ve no idea what to put together, but I can probably think of something that I can conjure up. I have makeup and clothing – I just need to think about the finished product. Then again, to me, every day could be Halloween, but that’s how I used to think.
No more hiding. No more excuses.
Now I just need to spend more time working with my drawing tablet, so I can make some new art!

I can say with certainty that this week has been anything but uneventful. I can also say with certainty that I hate time boggles!
I’ve been doing my best dealing with my mom’s health issues, but lately things are looking better, so she’s breathing better, and as a result, I’m breathing easier. The rest of the weekend has just been random giggles. One of the reasons I know she is feeling better is that I didn’t do my full-on makeup before going to the hospital, and she almost sounded disappointed. Kinda funny really. It’s like other people thinking something is wrong if I’m not in my usual mode. It does have an on/off switch usually. I think it’s funny how some people think I’m just doing drag. I guess it’s all in perception. If people want to think that, then that’s fine, but to me, fashion has no gender lines and my identity is too varied for one side of the fence or the other, so I consider myself to be transgendered – or TG.
I was relieved to have Cell One straighten out my phone bill, so I sold it on eBay afterward and bought a new Blackberry, so no more problems of that type. I still have my iPod, so I’m happy. I guess when you sign up for a cell plan, you should ask every imaginable question – even if they don’t apply right then and there.
Soon, I plan on visiting a real hair salon to get my mop under control – not one of those el cheapo Wal-Mart or Great Clips places either. Yeah, it’ll most likely cost more, but as they say……you get what you pay for. So right now, I’m just waiting for my refund from Avenue for some boots I bought that were too narrow in the ankle-even though they say they are wide-calf, and may buy a pair of clogs from one of my friends at work, which is faster than by mail, as they’re new and we are the same size.
So……here’s to the new week. I hope it’s a good one!
