I miss my camera. Heck…….I miss any camera – especially the convenient ones.
There were many times when I would see something interesting, and then I would just whip out my camera (usually disguised as a phone), and would snap a quick photograph. Today’s phones, tablets, and phablets (cross between a phone and tablet in case you were wondering) have this wonderful thing called a built-in camera, which ranges anywhere from 5 to an insane 41 megapixels in resolution (not sure WHY we need a phone with a 41MP camera, but hey………), so that way you can preserve your memories long enough to either transfer them to your computer or share them with your friends out there in cyberspace.
So now that my phone has bit the dust……….I miss my camera. I can only hope that perhaps it’s just the battery that has pooped out, and not the whole thing. Knowing my luck, it IS the whole thing, but I can hope.
I enjoy having something to snap memories with that’s convenient, because I see random things that I want to remember and preserve for my memory’s sake, but that convenience is sorely missed as of late.
I suppose I shouldn’t complain too much. When I DID have my camera, I didn’t take near as many pictures as I should have – or would have liked. I may have to see about a cheap replacement in the meantime. There would be many times when I WOULD snap a quick photo and then check them over later. I like the digital ones better than the print ones – mainly because it’s harder to lose a digital image (unless you delete it) than a printed one.
I hope to have this minor crisis averted sometime soon. One can hope anyway.
