  1. I see those magazines often at work in the library.

    There are three things I find annoying about them.

    1.Well over a third of the magazine is advertisements … mostly for obscenely overpriced items.
    2.Well over half the clothing is not functional, unless you simply plan on finding a place to stand and move for the entire evening.
    3.Most of the clothing and accessories (including those in the advertisements) would not stand out if placed in a Sears or Target catalogue; and still be over priced at retail prices.


    • All points well taken, but I mainly use them for sketching inspiration and possible fashion ideas. While I don’t shop at those high-priced places, it gives me a general direction for styles I like.
