Y’know…it gets pretty bad when people say it’s proper to lie and mislead people just to get more money from them. What ever happened to the days of honest business and also when a handshake actually meant something! I guess that stopped back around the 80’s…to think…some people’s thoughts actually dropped in the toilet during such a creative era! Nowadays you can’t even trust a kid selling Kool-Aid unless they have EPA clearance and a license from the Better Business Bureau! Maybe I should go into stasis now and see how the future fares….nahhh…might miss something actually good! Coming up…….more cool pics and stories!

Back in town and getting settled back into the throes of technology *sigh*…what to do these days. At least now people have me working on their computers in an effort to fix them, so I’m getting some practical experience in fixing those things, which helps on my A+ certification a great deal! I’m working on a new version of my Mari Iijima fan site, which is totally revamping the whole shebang – so therefore, it’ll look nothing like this one (it’ll have more colors)!
WOO-HOO! Freedom! I am ready to ROCK! I haven’t had a real vacation in three years, and it’s high-time that I went out and had some serious fun! I may have an interview while I’m gone, so when I return to my job, I might have a better position (other than “missionary” if you know what I mean). Time to clear my head, shake the hairspray out, and ride like the wind!
Hey….cool! I’m starting to get people who are actually interested in this site! That’s something I haven’t seen in some time! Maybe it’s time to…dare I say it…put a counter on the main page and see just how fast it climbs! I’ll celebrate if it goes over 100 when it gets there!
It’s getting closer….I can feel it. Freedom beckons and I am not going to resist the temptation to hit the road. FOUR days and counting! It’s gonna be great and I’ll have pics from the trip here shortly!
I finished customizing my desktop using some new programs (for now). I’ll have a scan of it pretty soon to show off what I did, since my good friend Chris showed me how to do it (I feel really dumb for not knowing how before). Just getting ready to start work and I can already tell it’s going to be a long day. Studying for the A+ is going well though, and I have a second book to help with that. I’m also working on some traditional pencil-and-paper sketching that I hope to scan in soon, and maybe I’ll make new logos and such with it….who knows what will happen next! Time to stretch that ol’ creative muscle again…….
